We finally have a cover!
If you have read my previous few posts, you'll know of the epic journey we went on to replace our book cover artist. Well, after a long and dangerous quest, we finally have our replacement, and I think the Book 5 cover turned out pretty good!
In it, Wyoming Bones faces the Imposter, a mysterious figure that looks exactly like Wyoming. Even Leila and Blurble, looking on from the stairs, can't tell the difference between the two! Okay, maybe Blurble can, but you'll have to read the book to find out more about that.
Don't want to give away too many spoilers.
New Logo!
Along with a new cover, we also have a new logo! While looking for new artists, I came across some that specialize in logos. After looking at the flat text I had been using on the previous few covers, I decided to give a custom logo a try. I think the results look great. What do you think?
The logo we settled on, above, wasn't our only option. Here is the one we almost went with:

I loved this one, but in the end it was just a tad too busy to put on the cover of the book. We tried it with just the text, like this:

But even then, the one we chose won out.
But I'm curious what you all think- did we make the right choice?
Should we go back and give the same treatment to the rest of our books?
