Hello! And welcome to the blog of Elden Walseck.
Who am I? Well, I'm an a husband and father, first and foremost. I have an amazing wife and four great kids. The kids, currently, range in age from 1 and a half all the way up to almost 8 years old.
When I'm not spending time with my family, I am writing and publishing books. My current series is Wyoming Bones books, which is basically Indiana Jones set in Minecraft. I started writing the stories because I wanted something to read to my kids at night that combined our shared love of Minecraft and adventure that I could enjoy reading as much as the kids could.
In my spare time, I'm a rocket scientist.
Okay, you caught me. Rocket Scientist is my day job, not just what I do in my spare time. I'm a welding engineer working on engine rockets, which is definitely a dream job for me. I grew up watching Star Trek and wanting to be Geordi La Forge (The chief engineer on Next Generation).
I'm going to be talking here about a whole mix of things, from fatherhood to spaceships, minecraft to boardgames, and whatever catches my fancy.
